I had my first cigarette. I am a male. 20 years old. I was slightly buzzed from some alcohol that I had and I have always normally been against cigarettes as I had spent a lot of time researching the effects it has on the human body. I feel confused though why I decided to try it at least once. Maybe for existential reasons but I had about 2 cigarettes if I had to actually gage how many sticks I had the whole night. If I don't have anymore cigarettes after this, am I going to be okay? Should I expect certain addictive symptoms of any sort after this mishap of trying cigarettes after I was slightly drunk? I feel kind of bad about it but that first cigarette made my head feel really good. It gave me a really warm buzz inside my head. For some reason the second cigarette didn't achieve the same thing. Yes - I completely realize that it was a very idiotic thing to do. I'm looking for positive guidance from this point though. I want to intend to not smoke any more cigarettes for the rest of my life but was wondering if there was any addictive habits perhaps or first cigarette symptoms I should watch out for or ways to avoid it after this. Ways to cope. I'm not sure what to expect.
