so i used to hav 2 memphis pr12's @2 ohm each on a rockford p500
now i hav a 10" kicker L7 on a power acoustic bamf 2000 (tuned to 1200wrms)
and im not feeling that same kick ... from it, i have a friend who had the L5 and they smoked my pr12's and i hav that same box as him and the L7 dont hit as hard, he had it in a trans am so there was more airspace then in my cavy? idk but i was looking to get something to be as good if not better sounding in my cavy as my pr12's with the bamf 2000 amp, i was looking to maybe having a 12' solo x? thoughts? plz help

Honestly, all your issues are in the box. Just because you buy the big, bag Solo X, doesn't mean you'll be the loudest on the block. I just bought two 8" Skar Audio VVX 8D2's and am running them off of a DC Audio 2K amp, and I'm walking all over everyone in my city who runs Kickers.

Not to mention, the Solo X is a power hungry monster. You can't simply just hook up that amount of power to a Power Acoustik amp and stock electricals and call it good, that's just asking for $500+ worth of damage. The Kicker Warhorse amp was made specifically for the Solo X, and with that much current draw, you're going to need a couple of extra batteries, an alternator that can support that kind of power, multiple runs of 1/0 gauge wire, and all the wiring accessories. That's at least $2,000 right there, on top of the cost of the Solo X and Warhorse amp themselves!

Hope this helps!
