Okay, We adopted another cat about a month ago. She was very overweight when we got her and now that she has settled in we started giving her "diet" food, just normal dry food with less calories in it.
We have another cat that is adopted from the same shelter and she is underweight so she gets extra fattening food. (I'm a sucker for cats who have problems).
Well, now the overweight cat is throwing up a lot, 2 times a day for 3 days now. And it is not a normal hairball, its just food and water. I know she had a tendency to puke at the shelter when she got nervous (I volunteer there and know how she was at the shelter). But there is nothing that should be stressing her, at least what I should know of. She and the skinny cat are just fine, they've even started playing a bit. And she did not throw up when we just got her, and now a month later she starts?
I have given her cat malt today, maybe that will help.
Do you have any idea why she is throwing up her food?
