My exboyfriend is a bonehead, and adopted a lab puppy that is way too young. My ex isn't qualified to own a pet rock let alone a puppy. So I re-adopted her. I had to put my min pin down in August, it's been years since I had a puppy. My vet says she's too young to vaccinate(he says 8 weeks) which worries me because I'd like to house train her, right now she just goes in the kitchen, sometimes she makes it on the potty pads. I live in a townhouse complex so I don't have my own yard and I don't want her to get sick so I keep her off the ground. I've never crate trained before, because all my dogs have come to me housetrained. She LOVES her crate, she goes in it willingly, and sleeps there. But at night? She CRIES so I take her potty and put her back. It's been three nights so far and every two hours she cries. Am I doing the wrong thing by taking her out when she cries every two hours? I also come home every two hours during the day to let her out to play and pee. Help?
