He never takes any responsibility for his actions, and I mean that. It has taken him 9 months for him to start renovating our kitchen, before which was littered with boxes of granite and cabinets that filled the entire space.
He blames his inecessent swearing on "us", his kids. Whenever I accuse him of being a bad parent (which most of the time he is), he always HAS to find an excuse for it. Like he is justifying his actions to himself.
He makes fun of, swears at, verbally abuses, and ignores his kids. Whenever he is asked a question, he'll try to dodge it completely...often repeating "what" or "huh" ten or so times until the person is too fed up to ask again.
I have bulimia, and he has cancelled any treatment I was to receive. He even makes fun of the fact that I have it. On christmas day he told me to just "puke some more, you fucking girl". He literally does NOT care that I have it, and he's found buckets and buckets of puke I've had in my room. Still, no action. Its not for attention, theres a long history behind it. I've kept on nagging him ENDLESSLY to call the fucking hospital...but all he can say is "I already did, they haven't called me back". Now, heart attacks run in the family for god sake. I'm only 16 years old and have already experienced heart palpitations and irregular heart beats.
What should I do? I can't stand to be around him anymore, but I'm often stuck in situations where I am. I feel as if I'm literally going insane. My mom left us around three months ago because she couldn't take his crap anymore.
