Why did you purchase them in the first place??????? And you shop at Target. That is just as evil as walmart!!!!! Wise up NOW people!!!!!

I have about 6 Nalgene bottles...one for my gym bag, my backpack, one at work, one on my desk at home, etc...

I recently discovered these bottles are made of BPA and aren't safe. GREAT! (Yet another case of "corporate science" getting in the way of our safety.)

Today I discovered Target actually has a BPA-free watter bottle section in their store - so, I picked out a cute pink one that's just going to have to go with me everywhere...because I'm not going to go buy a bunch of them only to find out there's something toxic about these ones, too.

So...any suggestions as to what I should do with my old bottles?

My only thought is to drill a couple holes in the bottom of each of them, tie them together, fill them with dirt, and made a "poison bottle garden" out of them. :o)
Is there a way to make them safe? I wish a company would come up with an insert I could put in the bottle and still be able to safely use it...that would be nice.
