Whenever we get ready together as friends to go to events, there's always that one girl who complains About being fat or ugly or something else along those lines. Now I'm an honest person, and I don't want to hurt anyones feelings if they are a little chunkier or werent born naturally great looking. What should I say that will make them feel better without having to lie? I usually try avoiding the subject or changing the topic of conversation, but they see through that and know I don't want to listen to their problems.

I'd ask her if she wants to start an exercise program because you've been thinking about it and it's always easier with a friend. It doesn't matter if you're not fat. Anyone can benefit from exercise! If she doesn't take you up on it, or at least talk to you about it, I think you're within rights just to ignore her "fat" remarks in the future.

Just say that they are lovely, beautiful etc.
Those words can be applied to personality too.
Or make a joke like "You're not exactly 500 lbs." or something similar. This sounds like a compliment, is total truth and they'll likely laugh if you do.
