I recently switched jobs and am driving a lot more. I had to buy my current vehicle (02 Land Rover Discovery) in December when I had knee trouble. But my husband is having trouble working on it, and parts are hard to come by. So, we're pretty well in agreement to sell it after I buy something else.
The thing is I'm not sure what to buy. It has to be 4WD, automatic and a truck or SUV. Gas mileage could play a factor. I'm looking to spend 10k or less. I love the interior of the Land Rover, and before it I had a manual 4 cylinder Jeep Wrangler for years (I cried when I sold it, only reason I sold it was because it was a manual). Before that was a 97 Ford Ranger, which I really liked but not enough room. Any ideas on what I should buy? I was kind of interested in an F150 or Sportrac when I bought the Land Rover, but couldn't afford them. Prices have come down, since then. I also wouldn't mind an automatic Jeep. Any suggestions appreciated.
