What types of tropical fish should I put in my 38 gallon tank?

I have a 38 gallon tank and it is ready for fish. What tropical fish would you recommend I buy? I'm a beginner and would like some easy-to-care for fish. Just some easy fish that I can feed tropical flakes or freeze-dried and pellets. Thank You!
