What Volkswagen's have Diesel engines?

Theres a 97 VW Golf CL for 1500 with a perfect body and good condition ( 175000 kms ) but i don't think its diesel. How do i know what types are diesel? ( i'm looking for a 2000 and younger car, cause i'm on a budget )
 
it says "TDI" either on the car or in the title, it stands for Turbo Diesel Injection.
 
The VW Jetta TDI is a turbo diesel. If you can't tell by starting it, looking by the fuel gauge inside or by the fuel filler cap should be a dead giveaway.
