What was the relationship like between Tad and Robert Lincoln?

Well, I know that Tad was super annoying when he was little in the WH, but what about after that? I know that Tad lived with Robert and his wife after the assassination before he went to Germany with his mom and then he came back and lived with his brother until he died at 18. But was their relationship good? This isn't for school, but I'm just curious with Abe dying like that and all.

Well this is interesting and I had to do some research

Tad's social history is not really well known plus tad had a speech impediment.

Plus they only were together 1 year and four months. This was before Robert got married
 
Tad had a strong bond with his mother. When reading about Robert and Tad, I never get a feeling that they were close; only that Robert became the caregiver as he was ten years older than Tad.
