1. Jeggings: At the the top of our list (and Newsweek's) are jeggings -- the jean leggings seen on would-be fashionistas between 8 and 48 this year. Why oh why does the fashion world keep coming up with trends that make women look fatter, not skinnier?
2. Stunt Food Fads: Newsweek calls out KFC's Double Down, a chicken sandwich that encased chicken in ... more chicken (hold the bread). But what about Denny's Fried Cheese Melt? Or Burger King's Pizza Burger? Seems like fast-food chains have a little too much time on their hands.
3. Justin Bieber: Sorry to be a hater, but the media's fascination with Justin Bieber went far beyond his music to his hair, his sneakers and whether it's OK that he kisses girls (he's 16). Time for the next YouTube star!
4. Lady Gaga's Wardrobe: It's safe to say she won't be able to top the meat dress in 2011.
5. Twihard Fever: Are we the only ones who thought "Eclipse" was weaker than the first two movies? K-Stew had better turn into a vampire, stat!
