i know horses is the top but what other would you consider to be as important?
1. Horses
2.?

Worms. The European worms have changed the face of North American forests.

Any colonies in particular? Europeans colonized North America, South America, parts of Asia, etc.etc.

Horses would be one. Then there would be cattle that changed agriculture. Cattle soon replaced the buffalo when the colonies discovered that it's milk could be turned into cheese. When cows were used for meat that's when people wanted cows. Cattle was used for meat, milk, cheese and other dairy products (not including ice cream or yogurt) you know the basics). Cattle changed the colonies.

Another would be sheep. Sheep was needed for cloths. Because sheep produced large amounts of soft fluffy white fur called wool. Wool was used for many cloths. Soon wool became popular making sheep expensive and an important part in livestock. Sheep was imported from europe into the colonies and was important.

Goat is the other important one. Like the cow it produced meat, goat milk, and goat cheese. Goat was imported from europe and was as important as the cow.

I suggest you pick the cattle for number 2.
