I have a former snowmobile trailer that I know use as an ATV trailer. I have two ATVs, but have never had a snowmobile. I bought the trailer used when we got our second quad to take them up north. The wood is thin and is not mean for the weight distributed onto only 4 tires instead of two skis and a tread. The trailer can hold to snowmobiles but I have managed to pull both ATVs up onto the trailer at the same time so that it will tip down flat again once they reach the certain point. The wood needs to be replaced, as both ATVs broke through the wood on our recent trip to the Tuscobia trails in Wisconsin. I was wondering what type of wood I should use to be durable enough to pull 2 800lb ATVs onto it. It currently has a very thin plywood on it. It has two sheets splitting the trailer in half in the front most part and a board all the way across the rear. Please supply the measurements and a link to where the boards are sold. Thanks!
