I have a '64 Ford Fairlane that I just got done painting. The car was original when I bought it with very little surface rust, no rust spots that needed more than simple sanding. All of the trim is there, and the seat are perfect. The dash has a carpet cover on it due to part of the dash padding missing in but not noticeable with the cover. All lights, windows..well.. everything is original and works. The headliner I did replace due to tearing a hole in it when I took off the trim. The title says odometer is past mechanical, but the interior says it could be actual at 70,000. It has a strong running 289 with automatic transmission. I painted back to the original skylight blue, and it has a nice shine to it. I have had it up for sell for some time now at $8000. Had a bunch of lookers but no buyers. I am curious is the car isn't selling due to the recession or if I am just asking to much for it. Any ideas?
