What would be the one gadget that you wouldn't want to live without?

I'm not a huge lover of gadgets, in fact, I find rather a lot of them intolerable. However, without them, life would be so much more difficult. I don't own a mobile phone, yet, I constantly use my laptop whilst at home and play my Ipod when out walking, but both will never compete with the good old television. I use it more than anything else and definitely more than I should. Its wonderful! And truly something I love to pieces, though, maybe not all the rubbish that is shown on it.

What gadget would you not want to live without?
 
My PC. One device to bind them all, it has all the features and functionality of a variety of different devices.

Sadly my PC is not yet one with my mobile phone and iPod. It lack portability and it can't take a great digital photograph without buying an expensive peripheral digital camera to replace the existing webcam.

My PC also has trouble making phone calls easily.

In the future I believe that we'll only have one device. The idea of 'one universal device' is called 'convergence'.

Perhaps in the future my PC will be able to make me toast and coffee.
