hummer? land rover ? jeep? Toyota ? pls help going their for a year i have half made my mind up.. would to have pro and con thanks you
 
Every time you see African wildlife programs on TV the crews are driving around in Toyota Land Cruisers or Land Rovers.
That says it all doesn't it?
 
BriaR has it pretty much nailed. But IF I had the money to go on a safari, I'd be riding in a Hummer. :)
 
OLD SCHOOL land rover or land cruiser.I'd pick one up over there something that's proven itself already
 
So far everywhere I visited in the world, from the deserts of N. Africa, Middle East to the jungles of S. America there is really only one vehicle I see in remote locations: Toyota Landcruiser, mostly with a old school non turbo diesel engine though. The Hummer is simply too large and heavy.
