what would happen if i took the cats off my 95 ford ranger 4.0l so i could get

better exhaust? what exhaust? i have a 95 ford ranger with a 4.0L V6 and it appears to have 2 cats with an O2 sensor in between them. i was wondering would it do anything to the motor or cause it to run rough if i were to remove them. i live in florida and they dont check emissions so thats not a problem. one more thing what kind of muffler would sound the best? i was kinda thinking a cherry bomb glass pack but im not sure how it would sound
