Im 22 yo, have 0 expirience on Martial arts, and willing to start practicing either of those disciplines, i know how different they are one another but i cant seem to decide. Which would you rather pick and why?

Yo fol, you dig tradition o yo dig bang'en. Karate is tradition fol. Krav-Maga is 'bout bang'en.

Or, I could say this, most schools offer a trail class or even a trial month. I would just go and try them. You will know what you like. Everyone is different. That is what the ART in Martial art's mean. Only you can discover that part for yourself.

Style of a martial art is probably one of the least important things to consider when choosing where to train. Look for a dojo/ dojang/ gym etc. that is a reasonable distance away from your house and has a good teacher. Make sure its not a McDojo (a school that has high prices for bad martial arts). Also, make sure you can afford it and have the time. Then, if you have multiple choices that fit that description, then choose the style that you think you would enjoythe most (schools usually have a free demo class so you can see if you like it).

Personally I prefer karate. Its a. More complete martial art, as opposed to a fight sport (muay thai, mma, etc).

Hope I helped

Krav Maga. It's older and more realistic not to mention more focused on getting the job done. Of course you should consider the Dojo or school and the people teaching there but as far as Which martial art i believe to be more effective it's Krav Maga hands down. I Have never taken it but I do tons of research on older martial arts.

At first glance, I would say Krav Maga over karate for realistic self defense. That being said, there are some effective systems of karate, but you have to know where to find them. The thing I like about Krav Maga is its no-nonsense approach to realistic self defense. There isn't a lot of bowing, etiquette, or kata that are useless in a street fight. Most, but not all systems of karate have traditional rituals that have no street defense applications.
