What would you like to ask?can you keep a baseball if you catch it?

If a person in the stands caught a ball in a baseball game would they have to throw it back or could they keep it?

also what of other sports where a ball might go out, what sports are you allowed to keep an out ball or you have to give back, can someone help me.
 
Sports where you can keep the ball:
BASEBALL!!!! (fair or foul, if you get it, you keep it!!)
Hockey (puck, not ball)
Football (50-50 proposition. Most times, you have to give it back but there are instances where you can keep it. Especially if a player throws it in the stands)
Tennis (the only time I actually got a ball of any kind!)

Sports where you must return it:
Basketball
Soccer
Volleyball
Bowling (joke, of course)
