What would you use to glue a back glass window in my VW convertible bug?

My back window from my 2003 Convertible bug has started becoming unglued from the canvas top. What can I use to glue the glass back into the canvas? I know how, but I want to make sure I use the glue or material for all purposes (good for the canvas, good for the glass, will last outdoors, etc.)
 
Call the parts department at the closest dealer and ask what they suggest. They can probably order you the glue. It would be the safest.
