The Opel Vectra has always been a bad car, and the 1998 model is possibly one of the worst. Unreliable, cheap build quality, terrible chassis, reliability, and all that, makes it one of the worst large family sedan cars that you can buy today. If you want a large family sedan car, get the 2002 V6 Ford Mondeo if you want secondhand. Otherwise, buy a new Ford Mondeo (no matter the engine, because the new Ford Mondeo is an excellent car in almost every area).
