whats all the gossip about hair clear glossing salon treatments?

i am hearing a lot about salon clear hair glossing... is it good or bad fro your hair? i was considering it.... but my hair is long and dry and damaged and frizzy and color treated... sucks to be me lol... am i a good canidate fo this or not? does it improve hair texture and softness and health and shine or make it worse? is is for any one or only certain people? advice from people who have had it done or hair stylists only please and thank you.
