3 days ago i cleaned my rabbit cage out and gave them new clean nest boxes the next morning when i went out to feed them i noticed one box had all the shredded paper missing, thinking nothing of it i refilled the box i went back out a few hours later to find it empty again so i checked the hutch i have a 3 level hutch the middle level is all enclosed and dark after having a peek i noticed my 8 month old flemish giant doe was carrying paper from one cage all the way to the middle level she filled the thing right up with shredded paper. Today i went in to feed her and every time i touch her she grunts. Im not sure whats going on with her. Ive had her for about 4 months and shes never done this before and is always a cuddly bunny never attacks until now. She hasnt pulled any fur out yet so not sure what to think.
