What's involved in changing the standard steering wheel for an after market

wheel on a Y Reg Fiat Scudo van? Standard Fiat Scudo 1.9el van in need of a new steering wheel. Does anyone have any idea's how to go about exchanging the standard steering wheel for an after market steering wheel? Not sure if I need a new steering wheel hub/boss kit? Cheers in advance.
