He starts issuing a really loud, panicky series of shrieks for no reason what so ever. I go to pick him up and he runs away, when I do pick him up he'll go quiet for a minute and then start screetching away like a car alarm again and it's driving everyone in my house CRAZY!!! He lives outside but he'll start that noise at 5am and get so loud I have to go out and get him to quieten him down for a little while. But he'll make this noise at any random time though. Weather he's inside or outside. He's not in any pain, he just starts screaming out like he's in severe distress but I can not see any reason for it. The only way I can stop making such a tremendous noise is by covering his cage with a towel and I feel aweful for doing it but it's the only way that I can stop him making those horrible shrieking noises. Why would he be doing this? I've had at least ten adult guinea pigs in my life but none of them have done this. Is it a baby guinea pig thing? Please help me because I'm really freaking out about this.
