Whats the best sedan/suv i can buy for about 10-11.5 k?

I am a sixteen year old male, looking for a safe, reliable and easy to repair car. I really dont car to much about the looks just something that runs well and will keep me safe. Also mileage less than 50k. I also am not sure if i should buy a car or suv.
