I have a 2005 that is my regular vehicle, but I use it to carry firewood. I want to do something to enable the truck to carry a full load of wood without too much sagging and I want to protect the original integrity of the truck. I want the truck to work harder, not customize for looks. I have thought about leaf springs, but some people prefer air bags because they deflate to allow for a softer ride when not in use. I also don't know if I would need a lift kit if I had something installed. Anyone have any good thoughts? I don't want to pay more than I have to, but I want quality.

They don't have the engines to do it right so don't bother. You need something with more gnads.
