What's the deal with "laser styluses" being able to pick up "buried"
grooves in a record? I mean, why and how would the manufacturer of the record put grooves into the record, well before the invention of the laser stylus, that wouldn't be detectable by a solid stylus? I've heard that the laser stylus can find and play these hidden grooves but have never heard any examples of its reading such buried grooves.
