...can be run in dvd player. Hey guyz plz tell me the format which can be run in dvd player. I have a avi file of 373 mb and i want it to convert in a file format which can be run in dvd. If it can't be possible tahn tell me athor things. I want it to convert in 700 mb

divx generally produces the smallest file types

Domestic DVD players however will generally only play mpeg1 and mpeg2 videos

Mpeg 2 compression is the the basis for commercial DVD's (but in a different wrapper)

the Capacity of DVD's is 4.5 gig
