Whats the resale value of a 1995 geo metro?

theres one 2 hours away from my city, its going for 800, it has 100000kms and has alittle rust on the drivers side door, i talked to the lady and she told me she bought a truck and she owned the metro for 4 years. She said its well taken car of. Now i drive a 1990 honda civic, and i wanted to buy that geo for 500 bucks, then safty it for 300 dollars ( i hope thats all it takes ), and sell it for 1500. You think thats a good plan? heres the ad
