What's up with the whining some Redskins fans are doing?

You can say whatever you like, you know you didn't want your team to be "that team" who lost to the Lions first. And it's more than just losing to the Lions (who were better than their record last year, even if they were still pretty bad). Redskins annually show lots of promise and then underachieve. Zorn started great last year and broke down, and he's come out and looks even worse this year. He's trying to do every position on the coaching staff, he keeps trying to prove how good the offense can be and continually is getting stopped near the endzone. Last year's 4th ranked defense is now just a joke who can't stop a 3rd down to save their lives. They need some help, and Zorn, Blache, Cerrato and Snyder aren't even close to answers.

Redskins fans had high hopes going into this season and now they look to be one of the worst teams in the league. Jim Zorn and Jason Campbell both need to go and the Redskins fans will cry until they're both gone. I love seeing redskins fans cry though. It brings tears of joy to my eyes.

For some reason, Fox Sports is determined to guarantee EVERY regional market gets at least 8 Redskins games a year, and with that in mind I don't think you can expect much out of a sub par performing squad consistently finishing (keyword finishing) 9-7 EVERY DAMN YEAR!

It can be devastating emotionally and mentally to either be the only team that another team beats on their way to 1-and-15, or to be the team that the team with the record for futility finally beats to stop the losing streak.

Brian Billick, head coach of the Ravens at the time, said that he blames their 2007 5-and-11 season on losing to the Miami Dolphins 26-20 in overtime, which was Miami's only win that season. And, when the Chargers went 1-and-15 in about 2000, their only win was against the Kansas City Chiefs on a botched KC field goal. And, that seriously upset Kansas City fans and players alike.

So, news outlets like ESPN like to capitalize on this and show losing fans getting upset when something like that happens. I guess it makes fans of other teams feel good knowing that their team isn't as big a loser as the 2009 Washington Redskins.
