I know, its a dumb question..but it sort of makes sense....
I drank caffeine (soda in general) like crazy and its HARD to completely stop..but then again, i dont smoke nor have i smoked at all...but i know some pregnant that smoked almost have way through their pregnancy...so whose baby has it worse, mine where i drink caffeine often or theirs where they smoked almost their whole pregnancy???

Thank you!!!
& go head, make dumb remarks, i dont care, i come on here for opinions..

No one gives a Damn about you, Both injure the Fetus.
Alcohol,
Caff and nic are deat heat.

Nicotine is carcinogenic, so nicotine is way worse in my opinion. Also, when you smoke you cut off oxygen to the baby itself, which doesn't help anything. Caffeine doesn't count much as a risk to me, but my sister is medical, and she says never drink anything diet, I forget the reason, but it has an ingredient that is bad for pregnant women.

Don't let people get to you, everybody has done things in their pregnancy they shouldn't have, I don't care what they say. You can't always do everything perfect, and pregnancy is no different. Just think about your baby and what you do can change their life.

I believe they both allegedly cause similar health conditions. But Smoking also apparently reduces oxygen getting to your baby, so I would go with the caffeine being better.

Then again, a healthy baby is a healthy baby, no matter what happened in the womb.

I quit both because i wanted the healthiest baby possible. My sister didn't quit either because she said her kid would be fine.

We all know ciggys are bad for babies...so me and my sister asked about the caffeine. My doc says do away with it all (1 point for me), her doc says only certain amounts (1 point each i'd say =]) and an article we read says there no need to cut back at all (1 point for her). Sooo it was a tie. Go figure?! lol.

Either way, i believe that it will harm the baby. So that's my story and I'm stickin to it.
