I've been getting sick like this since just before Christmas, but the scariest part is the fever.
The symptoms come on like a sinus/upper respiratory infection, but the fever goes out of control - up to 105.5 - and about 75% of the time doesn't respond to Nyquil, Tylenol, or anything else I've tried. This lasts for about 2 weeks, I'll be ok for about a week, and then get sick with the same thing all over again.
The last time, I went to a little clinic and was diagnosed with an upper respiratory infection. They gave me amoxicillin, which I took and finished, but here I am, sick again. The other night I entirely lost my sense of ballance and barely made it back to bed... I couldn't tell which way was up. =(
Oh... and when I lost my ballance, my partner said all the color had drained from my face. I wanted nothing more than to lay down on the floor, I was semi blacking out. He said it looked like I might've had a small seizure.
