It's not just black people I'm having a go at, as some white people are worse with their PC agenda.
I had a Golliwog as a child and I had all sorts of other soft toys of all different colours but my favourite was a Golliwog. It was just a character. If I liked it, then why would I have thought of it in a racist way? I feel more racist when I think of the Politically Correct police telling me what toys I can keep from my childhood and how I'm supposed to be evil if I like a certain toy. If it's just the name, then why not just rename them Golly? Strange how Big Ears wasn't banned from Andy Pandy and that might be insulting to people with big ears. If some black people are offended just because a character happens to be black, then I don't see how it's everybody else's fault if they are easily offended and need to develop their character.
