She is a German Shepherd cross just over 1 years old. The other day we took her for a walk in the bush, she ate a lot of grass, those ones with the spikey wheat thing on top. I know dogs do this to be sick and she was. About a football size amount of grass came up and thats it. She was still sick that night. The next day she was back to normal. Then the day after she started hacking up alot(not bringing anything up). That night every time she took a bite of her dinner she would do a short sharp squeal but keep eating. She also has thick glue like saliva coming from one side of her mouth (she never was a drooler). We took her to the vet this morning and he said he couldn't find anything wrong with her unless they put her under and a camera into her. This is going to cost $400 and I simply don't have it (student) I wish I did. I think maybe she has one of the grass heads stuck in her throat or something. Has any one had this happen to their dog? What was it? How did you fix it? If there is something stuck in her is there any way (product or trick) to soften or dislodge it? I am really worried, she isn't happy and loving like normal, she always tries to be alone.
