I have a 1994 jeep grand cherokee lerado which has had fuel pump problems, pcv elbow that was cracked, oil draining into my air filter and a leaking power steering fluid hose. During these I have had the engine light coming on while at high speed for an extended time. Also I can't pass a car on a 2 lane highway by simply just accelerating because when i go into passing gear i cant accelerate. Im not sure if any of the problems before could be related to whats going on now but no one can figure it out. This is my last option otherwise I will end up selling it.

To let you know there isn't a gear called passing gear. There's probabley just gear 1,2,3,4, and maybe 5. I race a BMW 325i and I'm a instructor for racing as well as drivers Ed. And it would cost you about 2,000 or more to fix that thing so just get a new one. Some good places to look is craigslist! 
good luck also nobody likes trading cars so just sell it as a parts car and don't get a Pontiac Aztec! There the ugliest crap ever! Get a jeep wrangler 2004 or something for 5,000 or something
