After the disaster that we saw last week in the NFL, everyone has the same question: When are the real refs returning? The replacement refs have been a massive failure. The NFL and their fans need the real thing. When is it going to happen?
I think it’s going to happen any minute now. In fact, by this Sunday, I expect the real refs to be back in action.
The event that broke the camel’s back was the controversial Monday Night Football ending. For the NFL and their bargaining stance, that was a nightmare. For the real refs, that was the best thing that could have happened.
This needs to get done … and it will.
