When cold air meets warm air does it produce warm air or cold?

Hi Im learning about Boscastle Flooding in school. I was told the cause of the flood but i can't remember whever it was cold air meets warm air that produces cold air or warm air? please help! thanks :) x Oh and please don't tell me to google it, it doesn't come up with anything.
