When does the USPS send a package back that a customer didn't pick up?

I sent a package to someone (Ebay) and they did not pick it up (yet) after a month. The Post Office left a notice in their mailbox on Feb. 5th. The customer has still not picked it up, according to track and confirm. When will the PO send it back as undeliverable? I will be pleased when if they do...this customer was unreasonable and a real P.I.A.
