When I burn my short films to a DVD the quality is poor?

Hi guys,

I've recently rendered all my short films and they are all together so they came to an hour and 6 minutes. The quality is normal but when I burn it using windows dvd maker the quality is very poor.

Does anyone recomend a good DVD burner? thanks.
