When is it appropriate to withdraw from a friend's relationship issue?

A friend of mine broke up with somebody this summer -- she'd been with him for two months -- and she's still very much not over him. I totally understand why she would hurt for so long -- I know the feeling, and I know how badly it sucks -- but I'm starting to have a hard time giving sympathetic responses every time a "new" issue comes up. She tends to stick on his facebook page a lot, checking out who he's hanging out with, what he's doing -- basically waiting to see if he's moving on before she does. We attend the same college, and some times she'll look for me when I'm in my studio to share more about the situation.

I feel horrible, but I'm starting to become really apathetic toward the situation. I know this takes time, but she needs to try to move on, since it's very obvious he already has. Since she won't, coming to me isn't doing anything for either of us but stressing us out. I don't know how to tell her, as she has no one else to really share it with...at least, that's what she says.

You need to say it to her, for petes sake, after 2 months she should have been over him in 5 minutes.

Bring her out and get her drunk, and send her home with a new guy.
