...Napoleonic Wars? They have apologised for slavery (the fact that they also did more than any other government to suppress t is conveniently forgotten). I can not remember who else this bunch have apologised to for things thy did not control but they seem to go around apologising to everyone on a my country is always wrong basis. The children who were deported to Australia are most definitely entitled to an apology as are those who have lost their pensions through government action. Those who have lost their savings due to government inaction and those servicemen who have lost their lives and suffering horrible injuries in body and mind due to the government making them fight a war with one hand tied behind their backs and a leg in shackles.
Should the British government apologise also for the things it has done or not done now rather than for things on which it had no control
