where can i find electric trucks and SUV's?

i can't stand getting out of cars because they are so low to the ground and my mom has a ford expedition that i can step out of. i'm looking for a 100% electric, not hybrid, truck or SUV. preferably SUV.
one time my friend gave me a ride home and i had a very difficult time getting out. i think it's because i'm 6' tall.

i'm pretty sure that there aren't any.
while batteries have improved considerably, they're nowhere near as good at storing energy as is gasoline.

i'm tempted to ask what the problem is with getting out of a car, but i doubt that it'll be a productive discussion.
i mean, would you have a problem getting out of a Corvette, or a Lamborghini?

The electric SUV that has been around for a while is built by Phoenix Motorcars: http://www.phoenixmotorcars.com/vehicles/index.php The vehicle they are presently pushing is an SUT (suburban utility truck but they have also had an SUV)

More recently you can find other mentions of electric SUV from other manufacturers:

This one looks like the old RAV4ev that has been kicking around for many years. http://www.ecofriend.org/entry/range-rover-e-range-world-s-first-electric-suv-makes-its-debut/ and the Rav4 ev ( http://www.carsdirect.com/toyota/rav4_ev ) is presently also is presently under consideration for a reintroduction by Toyota in cooperation with Tesla: http://www.autoblog.com/2010/09/13/toyota-tesla-rav4-ev-coming-to-la-auto-show-prius-phev-hitting/

http://www.earthtechling.com/2010/07/chinese-zotye-electric-suv-comes-to-america/ is a Chinese submission which again looks like the old RAV4ev.
http://green.autoblog.com/2010/01/02/luxgen-ev-a-7-passenger-electric-suv-displayed-in-dubai/ is from Taiwan and looks like a minivan so it might not be tall enough for you.

Most of these are early production vehicles. If you are a celebrity they it is more likely you can get your hands on one in exchange for a bit of promotion.

I have other references if you shift your preferences. For example you may wish to purchase a vehicle and have it converted to an electric car. There are several companies that have a reputation for doing this. Best of luck with your search.
