I bought my 6 year old son a KX 65 but he still has his JR50 that he likes to race. I have been looking for the reed valve cylinders that they used to sell when I was a kid but can't seem to find anything.
He has aluminum rims, 22mm mikuni carb, FMF pipe and silencer, aluminum sprockets, CRF50 forks I ported his cylinder and shaved the head. Are there any mods that I am missing? He races this thing against KTMs and Cobras but still does pretty well. I just want to get one more year out of the JR50 then let him race his 65 once he gets a little better on it.
