Where can i get a Tea Cup Maltese?

I live in Fresno, California and I want a Tea Cup Maltese. I can't find any around the area I would probably travel to a close city to get one. Does anyone know any cities where I can adopt one or get one for under $1000? I've searched in different websites and they all seem to be $1000 i find some for about $500 but they are either taken or they are not Maltese's.
 
there's no such thing as a "teacup" Maltese.. Maltese come in ONE size only, which is already tiny.

In a china shop or from some con artist byb or puppy miller.
There is NO such thing as a "teacup" anything.
Maltese are of the Toy breed, plenty small by normal standard.
Get educated before you get ripped off.
 
there is no such thing as a teacup maltese. This is something that Back Yard Breeders or puppymillers say in order to make their puppies sound cutier and so they make them easier to sell for a higher price. The puppies that are realyl small usually come with a TON of health problems in which that your dog will probably not live to the age of 10, which is still fairly young in dog years. If I were you I'd get a dog, but do research on the breed your getting.

There is no such thing. Check out the website above. The tiniest of dogs are unfortunately usually the runts of the litter and they are prone to medical problems. I got my chihuahuas at a shelter, where they were surrendered because their owners wanted "teacups" but couldn't fathom spending the money on the health issues. My male had knee problems and needed knee surgery and my female has a weight problem and has to be hand fed three times a day or more. Don't fall for this ploy. If you have to have a purebred, do so, and if you have to have a tiny one, just be prepared for extra costs on top of the ridiculous price they will probably charge. Just keep in the back of your mind all the shelters out there with pets that need a loving home.
 
There are none. No breed has a teacup size. Sammers who advertise them as such are liars who just want to make a killing, asking much more for the tiny ones than for the normal sized ones. The runts are usually very unhealthy.

tea cups are usually not healthy AT ALL. It is all a scam. The people who "breed" them usually run puppy mills. DON'T GET ONE! Why waste all that money on a dog when you could be rescauing one from a shelter that could be put down the next day! ADOPT! i am begging you! Shelter dogs are cheaper, they usually live longer, and they desperately need a second chance at life! Here is a good website that lists shelter dogs, or pups, in your area!

No where because there is no such kind of dog. The people who sell these are scam artists in the highest degree. They sell the runts of the litter who have lots of medical problems and short life expecidencies for lots of money and you get an ill dog who lives one or two years. Get a regular maltese from a breed specific rescue.
