Where do I put the 5 amp fuse and the 20 amp fuse under the coolant tank in a

1999 VW GTI VR6? My mechanic removed these two fuses after the coolant in the coolant tank overflowed. He asked me to replace them once the area dried out. Well, now I have two fuses, and I don't know which goes where - right or left. Anyone know where to place them? Thank you.
