Where's the science behind being born gay?

I've heard many gay people on here that claim that science has proven that people are born gay......but haven't seen any real scientific facts on the matter.

I'm not trying to offend anyone, I'm just curious to know where they get these facts.

There is none. One can trump up statistics to look this way or that but there is no proof that the claim is anything more than an attempt to divert away from accountability of lifes choices.
