Which Amityville was better? 1979 or 2005?

In my opinion, the 1979 version was alot better. It felt like true horror of a family being slowly tore apart over time. The 2005 version, to me, felt like less horror and more suspense, which kills the "Horror" in "The Amityville Horror".
 
Oh yeah, the original had a more sinister, creepy undertone... and better acting :P
