Which Disney Resort is better, the Polynesian or the Beach and Yacht Club?

My family is planning a disney vacation for dec 2010. We just got back from a week long vacation a month ago, we had a great time. We stayed at the Animal Kingdom Lodge because of a free upgrade at Coronado Springs (we wanted a king size bed so they moved us to AKL for free!) We went to the Polynesian for the Aloha dinner show and fell in love with the resort, and so did my family. We had HORRIBLE bus transportation at AKL so my family wants to stay at a resort with more then one transportation option.However, the price for the P is about 50 dollars more then the B&Y Club per night, and my family is worried that is too expensive, so they are leaning towards the latter. How can I convince then of the Polynesian?
 
Well, I opted for the Yacht Club our last 10 day trip to Disneyworld. It's got boat service to MGM studios and a walkway to Epcot. The 3 large pools were heavenly, they had their own mini water park, a hip ice cream parlor and everything was just very convenient for us. (We went to MGM and Epcot more than MK)We'll be vacationing there again in 2012, and will be staying at the Yacht Club again.
